During the conversations leading up to the union, it was suggested that some church members may wish to assist in leading parts of the Sunday service.

On those occasions when the minister has a mad dash between buildings it would be helpful if volunteers could begin or conclude a service. This is quite different from taking a whole service and would involve intimating hymns, saying a prayer and perhaps taking a Children's Address.

Don't panic… no-one will be thrown in at the deep end… but if you would be interested in volunteering an information evening has been organised on Tuesday, 6 November 2018 at 7.30pm in Chapelton). This will be led by the Rev Linda Walker who is Presbytery's congregational development officer and who has this as part of her remit. Nothing is required of you beforehand other than to let the minister know if you would like to come along.

If you are curious and wondering if this is for you, speak to the minister for more information.
