Where to find us and Further Information

Where is Trinity Strathaven located?

Trinity Strathaven address is Lethame Road, Strathaven, ML10 6AD

Trinity Strathaven Church is located on Lethame Road across from the entrance to the John Hastie Park (the lower part of Strathaven Park). The address is 15 Lethame Road, Strathaven, ML10 6AD

Where do I park?
Our car park is accessed from Crawford Street. If coming from the Common Green, pass the church on the left and take first left. The next left takes you into the car park (which is located behind the church halls). Additional parking can be found in the Common Green.

Where do I enter the church?
You may enter the church through the main doors on Lethame Road or through the emergency exit of the large hall (at the car park). The main hall entrance is accessed from Lethame Road and is located between the church and the manse garage.

All the access points to the Church and halls are disabled friendly with no need to tackle steps and easy access for wheelchairs between the church and halls. Accessible toilets are situated in the hall complex.

On Sundays
Trinity Strathaven is a welcoming and warm congregation. At the church door you will be welcomed by office-bearers on duty who will hand you the weekly Intimation Sheet. In each pew there are shelves containing hymn books and Bibles. For ease of reference, MP before a hymn number on the hymn boards means Mission Praise book (white-ish in colour) and HY means the church Hymnary (red cover).

Children are very welcome. They can attend the whole of the service but there is a Crèche (for 0-3 years), Sunday School and Youth Group which meet in the halls after the Children’s Address and Hymn. During holiday periods the Kids Klub for children of all ages meets in the hall after the first part of the service. If you have any questions, just ask and someone will gladly help you out.

After the service tea and coffee is served in the large hall. Please come round for a chat and get to meet people.

Where do I sit during services?
You are welcome to sit anywhere.

Communion is served on the second Sundays of March, June, September and December. Everyone is welcome. Activities for children not wishing to be present throughout the whole of the service take place in the large hall on Communion Sundays.

How do I become a member?
You do not need to be a member of the church to come along and worship or attend any of the church services or events.

If, however, you are a member of another church and wish to join Rankin then you can request a Certificate of Transference from that church and hand it to the minister (or any officer-bearer). If you have never been a church member, then speak to the minister who will lead you through the process.

An offering is taken during the service for those who wish to contribute to the work of the church. Some people place their donation directly into the offering bag which is passed round during the service. Others make use of the weekly envelope scheme, others make direct payments via their bank or contribute by cheque. The church, being a charity, encourages people to consider Gift Aid when making their offering. For more information, either fill out the contact section of the web site or pass your details via the Weekly Intimation Sheet to any office-bearer who will ensure the right person gets in touch.
